Winter crunchy celery & tuna salad

A delicious and easy salad made late in the evening with what is leftover in my fridge. The demonstration that you don’t need fancy ingredients to eat healthy & delicious food.

Ingredients (serve 1)

  • 2 celery stalks
  • a handful of mixed salad leaves
  • 2 small tomatoes
  • 1 small shallot
  • 2 radicchio rosso leaves (optional)
  • 1 small tuna tin
  • 3-4 olives
  • 2 sundried tomatoes
  • a sprinkle of olive oil
  • a dash of balsamic cream
  • a dash of black pepper
  • sea salt to taste

Simply wash and prepare all the vegetables and spices, finely slicing the shallots and the celery. Put in a bowl mix and season with extra-virgin olive oil, balsamic cream, black pepper and sea salt. Serve with a slice of sourdough rye bread.
